Actually determining who it is coming from will be very difficult. Probably the best thing to do is to block the email address from your servers.
You may want to contact someone in your legal department to find out how you can locate this person as well since you said that you are receiving false complaints about your division.
You never know what kind of laws are out there to protect your company from defamation of character.
It could be SPAM or a Virus. You may also want to check with your IT department to block the email address just in case a virus may be detected to protect your network.
